I am currently a graduate student in the Master of Arts in Teaching program at UNC and student teaching at Club Boulevard Magnet Elementary School in Durham, NC. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018 with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in U.S. History. I have extensive experience working with children through many years working at YMCA of the Triangle and classroom volunteering.


Following the MAT program, I will be seeking an elementary teaching position in North Carolina.

My mission as an educator is to encourage my students in their learning. I strive to create a relationship with each student to make them feel respected and safe. I will welcome and value the experiences students bring and expose them to new ideas. I will allow children to identify their strengths and use their curiosity to drive their education.
